HexaData is the server and infrastructure brand of Esconet Technologies Limited, founded by brothers Santosh Kumar Agrawal and Sunil Kumar Agrawal. Their technology journey began in 1998 as Electro Sales Corporation, a registered partnership firm based in New Delhi. In those early years, the business focused onwhitebox servers and workstationsbuilt on the Intel ecosystem, starting with dual Intel Pentium III processor-based servers at a time when the organised whitebox segment was still in its infancy in India.
Over the years that followed, the business grew steadily up the value chain. The AMD and ARM ecosystems were added alongside Intel, and the firm became an early adopter of VMware GSX, the leading hypervisor of the era, at a time when virtualisation was still a differentiating capability. Recognising a gap in the market, Electro Sales Corporation moved into rack-mounted servers, a segment where competition among whitebox suppliers was minimal. The team went on to engineer and supply some of the most demanding configurations available, including complex four-socket servers built for performance-critical environments.
In 2012, the founders formalised the next chapter of growth by incorporating Esconet Technologies Private Limited, transforming the partnership firm into a structured corporate entity. By 2018, the volume and quality of the whitebox product range had reached a scale where the HexaData brand was officially born. Today, that name stands for everything the business has built over more than two and a half decades: engineering rigour, complete customisation, and a commitment to delivering world-class infrastructure to Indian organisations.
